The New Year’s Invitational has enjoyed the participation of outstanding players from around the world.

Cooper Smith won the 2024 New Year's Invitational Championship with a score of 201.
The Tournament
Entrants in the Championship Division must have a USGA Handicap Index not greater then 2.0. The tournament format will be competed over the course of 54 Holes, Medal Play format, from the Championship Tees. The Championship division will consist of the first 84 paid entries accepted.
Mid-Amateur players(25 and over) in the Championship Division, in addition to competing for the championship, will compete for an award based on their finish in that age group.
The Senior Division will consist of the first 16 paid entries accepted. Entrants for this division must be at least 55 years of age as of January 2, 2025. Senior entrants must have a USGA Handicap Index not greater than 6.0.
The entry fee of $450 will be charged at the point of acceptance into the event. The Entry fee includes tournament rounds, a practice round, as well as food and beverage for the duration of the event. For practice round information, please utilize the tournament information drop down tab above.

For the tournament rounds, boxed lunches and on-course refreshments will be provided to the competitors each day. This year, contestants will have the option of walking or riding for all rounds.
Private housing with member families will be available by request on a limited basis. A list of hotels within a reasonable distance of the club will be provided at the time of entry acceptance.
The 2025 Champion will earn a spot in the Korn Ferry Tour's LECOM Suncoast Classic. The champion and runner up crystal will be presented following the conclusion of play on Sunday. The top finisher among Mid-Am (25 & Older) will also receive a crystal award. Merchandise prizes to those players and other top finishers will be available at that time.
Entries will be accepted based on overall record, prior to the NYI participation, WAGR ranking, timeliness of entry, as well as promptness of payment. Payments can be made through golf genius and will be documented with timing for accuracy. Entrants will be emailed notification of their acceptance, at which point they have 48 hours to make entry payment. Players that do not make the payment within 48 hours will be moved to the bottom of the waitlist.
