Courtesy Practice Rounds: A practice round may be scheduled by calling the golf shop and identifying yourself as a player in the field. The round will be complimentary if players choose to walk. If a player takes a cart, a cart fee of $27 (CASH ONLY) will be charged. Carts are only allowed during the practice round.

August 6, 7, 8, 9, 14, 16, and 19 after 3:30 pm
**Players MUST call to schedule a tee time, walk ins will be turned away**
Players may also walk the course afer 5:00 pm on Sunday, August 19 (no putters)

Starting Times: Play will begin at 8:00 a.m. off both the 1st and 10th tees.
Withdrawals: Please advise the Mass Golf office immediately at (774) 430-9016 if you are unable to compete. Failure to advise the Mass Golf office may disqualify the player from future USGA competition. If there is a need to call the Mass Golf office after the close of business on Friday, August 17, please call Laura Nochta at (513) 800-7948 [leave a message] or via email at lnochta@massgolf.org.
Qualifying & Alternate Spots Available: 4 qualifying spots, 2 alternates
Distance Devices: The use of distance measuring devices is permitted.
Automotive Transportation: The use of automotive transportation is NOT permitted. Pull/push carts will also be permitted.
Caddies: Caddies are allowed. Charles River CC has a number of caddies for players to utilize if reserved in advance. Please contact Caddie Master, Andrew Sbordone at 617-233-2556 to reserve a caddie. Fee will be $60 plus tip. Players may also bring their own caddie.
Golf Ball: The One-Ball Rule will be in effect. See Appendix I of the Rules of Golf.
Competition Tees/ Yardage: The competition will be played from the approximately the GOLD tees (Approx 6,700 yards; par 70 - holes 7 and 10 will be played as par 4s).
Golf Shop and Practice Facilities: Open and available at 7:00am.
Food & Beverage: The snack shop located in the pavillion adjacent to the 10th tee will be open starting at 8:30 am and available for players to purchase snacks, drinks, and pre-made items. Please note this is CASH ONLY!
Dress Code: Please observe the USGA dress code as stated in the U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship application.
*Please also review the 2018 USGA Hard Card and other policies located under the tab labled "USGA Policies" prior to competion.
*There will be no regsitration on the day of the event - please report to your scheduled starting hole to recieve local rules, scorecard, etc. 10-15 minutes prior to your starting time.
