All play is from WHITE tee markers on holes 1-9 of the Championship Course.

 

PREFERRED LIE:  One club length, no closer to the hole, in players own fairway. 

 

OUT OF BOUNDS:  Defined by inside points, at ground level, of white stakes and fences.  White stakes:  Holes 2, 10, behind 15 green and left side and behind 18 green.  Fences:  3, 4, 5, 12 behind 14 & 17 greens.  Any ball which crosses a public road defined as out of bounds and coming to rest on another part of the course is considered out of bounds.

 

PENALTY AREAS:  Yellow Penalty Areas are defined by yellow stakes and/or lines and Red Penalty Areas are defined by red stakes and/or lines.

 

GROUND UNDER REPAIR:  Rule 25 – Areas completely encircled with white lines, French drains filled with stone, seams of cut turf, tire ruts created by course vehicles.

BUNKERS:  Stones in bunkers are considered loose impediments and may be removed. 

 

DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICES:  A player may obtain distance information by use of a distance measuring device.  If during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance measuring device to gauge or measure any other conditions that might affect his play, the player is in breach of Rule 4.3a(1).

 

PRACTICE:  Prior to the stipulated round, a player may practice on the designated practice areas.  These include the two practice greens, the driving range, and the short game facility.

 

DISCONTINUANCE OF PLAY:  Rule 5-7:  In potentially dangerous situations play MUST be discontinued immediately following a notification from the committee.  Play will be stopped for one long blast of an airhorn.  In case of stoppage, all golf balls should be marked. 

 

TIES:  Ties will be broken by USGA Golf Genius software. 

 

SEASON POINTS:  Season Points will not be awarded if the field is less than 30 players.
