Schedule of Events
Monday - Thursday, July 9-12 - Match Play Championship
*CHAMPIONSHIP BRACKET: A field of 24 will qualify for the championship bracket of 32. Denver Haddix, Jr. is the defending champion in the Open Division and Christopher Hill is the Senior Division defending champion and are awarded the #1 seeds. All other seeding positions will be done by scorecard matching. Similar scores will be broken using the USGA recommended method of breaking ties.
Starting Times
Monday > All divisions qualifying round - 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

Registration
Registration required at this event. Important: Report to the starting tee no less than 5 minutes prior to your assigned starting time. There is no call to the tee; it is the player’s responsibility to arrive on time.
Food & Beverage:
You will have lunch provided on Monday. Other food and beverage services are available throughout the week.
General Information:
The Rules of the United States Golf Association govern play. This information sheet, the USGA Rules hard card and any site-specific Local Rules and Conditions of Competition sheets are supplements to the Rules of Golf. Local Rules of the host course do not apply. The Golf House Kentucky Rules and Competitions Committee, who are charged with conducting this site, shall settle all questions. Reference to the Rules and Appendix I may be found in the 2016-19 Rules of Golf book. Unless otherwise noted the penalty for breach of a Local Rule or Condition is: 2 Strokes.
Distance-Measuring Devices:
The KGA allows for the use of distance-measuring devices for its championships. All units must conform to USGA guidelines.
Pace of Play Guidelines and Procedures:
The KGA uses a pace of play guideline that is outlined on the back of the Notice to Players.
Player/Caddie Carts:
*Golf carts are provided for all players during the qualifying round and Round #1 of Match Play. Players are responsible for rental of carts after Tuesday round.
Pull/Push carts are allowed, if preferred.
Caddies:
Caddies are permitted, however you are responsible for making your own arrangements for a caddie.
Practice Range:
The practice range opens one hour before the first starting time weather permitting. Range balls will be available at the practice range and are complimentary for competitors.
Withdrawals:
If you need to withdraw call (859) 494-3548 and leave a message on the voicemail.
Attire & Conduct:
Proper golf attire is required. Blue jeans, designer jeans, tee shirts, and tank tops are prohibited. Shorts must be mid-thigh. Golf shirts with a traditional or mock collar are required. The host club is a “spikeless facility.”
Close of Competition:
The competition shall be deemed to have closed when all scores have been returned and the committee has approved the results.
