Tuesday, July 24th -- Round One (18 holes, 11 & Under age play front nine)
Wednesday, July 25th -- Round Two (18 holes, 11 & Under age play back nine)

Eligibility
Qualifiers from the five section team's within the state.
Entry Fee and Deadline
Entry is $5 and by invitation only.
Format
36 holes of individual stroke within age divisions and junior section team scoring.
Section Team Rosters & Divisions
Metro - Northeast - North Central - South - West
Five age/gender divisions:
- 11 & Under - top three available players from each section (9 holes each day)
- 12 to 13 - top four available players from each section
- 14 to 15 - top four available players from each section
- 16 & Older - top five available players from each section
- Girls - top three available players from each section
Course Set-Up
The golf course will be set-up at approximately:
- TBA yards (11 & Under Division)
- TBA yards (12-13 Boys)
- TBA yards (all other Boys)
- TBA yards (Girls Division)
Practice Round
A practice round is included on Monday, July 23rd. Contact the golf shop at Wellington GC to schedule your practice round time.
Clubhouse and Practice Facilities
Clubhouse and practice facilities open one hour prior to the first starting time. Practice facilities are for tournament contestants use only.
Defending Champion
Salina's Kameron Shaw was victorious in 2017 at Mariah Hills Golf Course. Shaw's back to back 2-over par 73's were good enough to secure a victory in a playoff over Garden City's Logan Durst. The South Central Section took top honors in the team scoring portion.
Carts, Spectators and Caddies
Carts are not allowed for junior events sponsored by the KGA and KJGA. Spectator carts are allowed at the discretion and price set by the host club. Caddies are not allowed for junior events sponsored by the KGA and KJGA.

Registration
There will be no registration at this event. You are responsibile to be at your assigned starting tee at least five (5) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time. This will give you adequate time to receive instructions and information from the Starter.
Withdrawals
For any withdrawals prior to the championship, please contact Baile Winslow at the KGA office so ASAP so that an alternate player can be determined.
Score Posting
Scores from each round of this championship will be posted to the GHIN Handicap System using ESC (equitable stroke control).

Method of Payments
Wellington Golf Club accepts cash or credit card for all purchases.
Close of Competition
The competition shall be deemed to have closed when the symbolic prize for the event has been presented, or if no ceremony, when all scores and results have been approved by the Committee.
