General Event Information: 

•  
• 9 AM Shotgun Start
• No Cost Event
• Official CWGA Player of the Year Event
• USGA will govern all play

 

 

Format: 

• Holes 1-6: Best Ball (select the lowest net score between you and your partner). Play the ball as it lies. 
  • HANDICAP: 100% of individuals handicap will be used for this format
• Holes 7-12: Scramble (May improve your lie only up to 1 club length without changing your position)
  • HANDICAP: 35% - 15% method will be used for this format 
• Holes 13-18: Alternate Shot. Play the ball as it lies. 
  • You will select one player to Tee off on the odd holes and one player to tee off on the even holes 
  • HANDICAP: 50% of the sum will be used for the handicap method for this format

 

 

Shootout: 

• The winning team in each flight will be entered in the shootout at the conclusion of the round. 
• The shootout will be best ball with handicap
• The shootout will last 3 holes and the team with the lowest aggregate score for the three is your winner.  

 

 

Ties: 

• If there is a tie for a flight winner after the 18 hole competition, a scorecard playoff will occur starting with the Best Ball format, Scramble and then the alternate shot to decide who gets into the shootout. 
• If there is a tie at the conclusion of the shootout, a chip off will occur.  The chip off will be the combined distance of the two players.
