General Event Information: 

•  
• 8 AM Shotgun Start
• Parimutuels: 7:00 AM - 7:50 AM
• No Cost Event
• Official MGA Player of the Year Event
• USGA will govern all play
• Closest to the Pin contest on all Par 3's

 

 

Format: 

• Holes 1-6: Best Ball (select the lowest net score between you and your partner) Play the ball as it lies. 
  • HANDICAP: 100% of your USGA handicap will be used for this format
• Holes 7-12: Scramble (May improve your lie only up to 1 club length)
  • HANDICAP: 35%-15% method will be used to handicap this format
• Holes 13-18: Alternate Shot (You will select one player to tee off on the odd numbered holes and the other will tee off on the even numbered holes. Play the ball as it lies. 
  • HANDICAP: Teams will receive 50% of the sum for this format

 

 

Tees:

• All play will be from the WHITE TEES unless you handicap has been established from an alternative tee marker. 

 

 

Shootout: 

• The winning team in each flight will be entered in the shootout at the conclusion of the round. 
• The shootout will be Alternate shot with handicap. Only 1 player drives.  
• The shootout will last 5 holes, eliminating teams on each hole until a winner is decided. 

 

 

Ties: 

• If there is a tie for a flight winner after the 18 hole competition, a scorecard playoff will occur starting with the Best Ball format, Scramble and then the alternate shot to decide who gets into the shootout. 
• Chip off will occur for any ties in the shootout
