2024 Singles Match Play

Limited field – 64 Singles

To coordinate matches, contact your opponent directly for scheduling. Refer to the Membership Roster (password: 24burb) for emails and cell phone numbers. Once a date and time are decided, contact Todd Marley (ToddM@ssprd.org) for tee time requests. 

Payout Distribution:

• 1st Place: $575
• 2nd Place: $350
• 3rd Place: $225
• 4th Place: $150
• 5th – 8th Place: $75 Each (Payouts subject to modification if the field is incomplete)

• All matches from WHITE TEES
• In determining match handicaps, please reference this document (link)
• Players must post their own scores on match day, recording Most Likely Score for unplayed holes
• Match results shared with Chip Brekken (chipbrekken@hotmail.com)
• Results updated in the Golf Genius bracket

Timeframe for Matches:

• Round of 64: May 31, 2024
• Round of 32: June 30, 2024
• Round of 16: July 31, 2024
• Round of 8: August 31, 2024
• Round of 4: September 30, 2024
• Championship and consolation matches: October 12, 2024

Un-Played Match Policy:

• If a match isn't completed by the end of each Tournament Round (month), participants can present their case in writing for consideration
• The Match Play Chairman, Men’s Club Vice President, and another Board member will decide which party advances if a case is presented
• In the absence of a written case or if cases are deemed equal, a coin flip will determine the advancing party
