RULES
THIS IS A MEMBER ONLY TOURNAMENT
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE AN UPDATED GOLF CANADA INDEX
Date – May 25th & 26th
REGISTRATION OPENS Monday, April 1, 2024 – 96 spots (32 teams)
Entry Fee - $70 per player. Those wishing to sponsor a hole will be issued a receipt for $160 which includes your entry fee. All entry fees includes Rib BBQ Lunch Sunday.
Saturday two tee start at 6:30 a.m. Sunday two start at 6:30 a.m.
We will be playing in sixsomes. Each team member must contribute a net score on 6 holes each day. The net score for each hole MUST be selected immediately after the team has completed each hole.
In the event of a tie, a playoff will begin on the 9th hole. Play will be alternate shot from the Blue tee. The order will be the Blue tee player, the White tee player, and the Red tee player.
INDEXES
Handicap indexes will be frozen at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024.
TEAM SELECTION
All entries will be put into a pool. Teams will be selected as follows:
- The lowest index will be paired with the highest index
- The second lowest index will be paired with the second highest index
This will continue until all the teams have two players.
The players left unselected (the middle guys) will be put into a hat and drawn to a team from the lowest index and up. Example – the first player drawn will belong to the lowest index, the second player drawn will belong to the second lowest index and this will continue until all teams are full.
“B” POOL OPTION
Each team will have the option of opting for a “B” Pool on Sunday. If a team feels they are too far out of reaching top spot, they can opt to play for a prize for their Sunday score only. The teams opting for a “B” pool will only compete on Sunday with any other teams that have opted to the “B” pool. Para-mutual bets will not be paid for teams choosing to play in a “B” pool. Teams choosing to do so must inform the pro shop prior to 6:30 a.m. Sunday, May 26, 2024.
TEE BOXES
- The team player with the lowest index will play from the BLUE TEES
- The team player with the highest index will play from the RED TEES
- The remaining team player will play from the WHITE TEES
OPTIONAL DUECE POT
- Deuce pot on hole 12, 15 and 17 only.
- Deuce pot flighted by tee box. (Blue, White, Red)
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
Friday, May 24th
- Team selection start at 5:00 p.m.
- White tee player will be drawn randomly, and complete team rosters posted on Golf Genius menu.
Saturday, May 25th
- Two Tee times start at 6:30 a.m.
- Pari-mutual betting is available on Saturday morning until 10:00 a.m.
- Wagers must be in $5 increments.
Sunday, May 26th
- Two Tee start at 6:30 a.m. Rib BBQ Lunch & prizes
