SCOTTISH MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIPS 2024 WOMENS FORMAT

• 6 players entered.
• 2 group of 3 players
• Top 2 from each group makes the Semi Final Stage
• Full tournament played on the Sunday

Group Stage:

All 6 players will be drawn at random to make 2 groups of 3 players. Each player plays against each other once in the group over 9 holes. The top 2 from each group qualify for the Semi Final Stage. The 3^rd placed players in each group will go through to play for 5^th-6^th place.

Group A – Holes 1-9. Group B – Holes 10-18

Semi Final & 5/6^th Playoff

In the Semi Final, the draw is determined by a traditional tree format. Group A Winner vs Group B Runner Up, etc. This match will be played over 18 holes

The 5^th and 6^th placed players will play a match over 18 holes to determine these placings. Any ties will go to a playoff hole followed by penalty putts.

This round will be played on the Sunday

Final & 3^rd Place Playoff:

This round will be played over 18 holes. If the matches finish as a tie then a 1 hole playoff will be played and then on to penalty putts after this required.
