MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIPS 2024 SENIOR SECTION:

 

Group Stage:

• 10 players
• 2 groups of 5 players.
• All group stage matches to be played over 9 holes and all holes must be played.
• Any ties after 9 holes remain as a tie.
• All matches played on Saturday.
• Live group stage draw is unseeded.

Each player in the group will play each other once to determine final group standings. Top 2 players from each group will then qualify for the semifinal stage. The player who finishes last in each group will playoff for 9^th and 10^th. All 3^rd & 4^th placed players will advance to the stage to determine places 5^th-8^th.

Semi Final:

• 4 players
• Seeded tree system – Group A winner vs Group B runner up, etc
• All matches played over 18 holes.
• Any matches tied over 18 holes are determined by penalty putts.
• All matches are played on Sunday.
• Winners advance to the final, losers advance to 3rd place play off.

Final & 3rd Place Playoff:

• Matches played over 18 holes.
• Tied match will go to a 1-hole playoff and then penalty putts for these placings.
• All Matched to be played on Sunday.

 

5th to 8th Stage:

• 4 players –
• Seeded tree system – Group A 3^rd place vs Group B 4^th place, etc.
• All matches played over 9 holes.
• Any matches tied over 9 holes are determined by penalty putts.
• All matches are played on Sunday.
• Winners play in 5th vs 6th. Losers play in 7th vs 8^th.
• Determines 5th,6th, 7th & 8th placings.

9th-10^th stage

• 5^th place in both groups play against each other of 9 holes to determine the placings.
• Match will be played on the Sunday
• Any ties goes straight to penalty putts
