One of the most unique and longest running Amateur events in the Country, Stillwater Country Club is proud to host once again the 82nd Annual Lyle Cran Shortstop Tournament. The entry fee of $145.00 includes a qualifying round (shotgun start at 9 am) on Saturday, August 31st, where players will be seeded by their score, and at least (2) 9-hole match-play matches on Sunday, September 1st. The final matches will be held on the 2nd of September. The field is limited to the first 144 players who sign up.
Again this year:
There will be one (1) sixteen player senior (50 and over) flight. Those not qualifying for the senior flight will be placed in the regular flights based on their USGA handicap.
The decision to play in the senior flight must be made prior to qualifying.
A practice round is available on Friday, August 30th for a fee of $65.00 after 1 pm. Those not qualifying for the Championship Flight will be placed in a flight based on their established USGA handicap. Complete pairings, with starting times, will be posted Saturday evening and sent out by email to all participants. There will be a separate Event for those who lost their earlier matches on Monday Sept 2nd.
