Chesapeake Bay Golf Club’s Junior Tournament Series

Competitive individual stroke-play every Sunday at Chesapeake Bay Golf Club!

 

Calling all high school and college-aged junior golfers!  Starting May 19^th, every Sunday* at 3pm Chesapeake Bay Golf Club will run an 18-hole junior tournament (9H in the offseason).  All tournaments will be individual stroke play and we will award a gross and net winner each week.  This is a great way for all levels of play to stay sharp, make new friends, and learn how to play competitive golf.  All scoring and record keeping will be done on Golf Genius.

*Please note that we will not have the tournament series on certain Sundays due to other Club Events.

 

Who is eligible: To be eligible to play in our junior golf tournament series, you must have your USGA GHIN handicap with us at Chesapeake Bay Golf Club.  The price is $50 for an annual handicap membership.

 

Divisions:

13-17: Boys will play the white tees, Girls will play red tees

18-24: Men will play the black tees, Women will play green tees

 

Weekly Entry Fees:

Members: $10

Non-Members: $40

All competitions are walking only.  Pull carts available on a first come – first serve basis.

 

Prizes:

Prizes will be based on field size!

 

What’s also included:

On the first Sunday of every month at 2pm our professional staff will host a 30-minute clinic for all junior golfers playing in the tournament that day going over a various skill or course management.

 

Chesapeake Bay Golf Club’s professional staff is also going to provide consultation services to all junior golfers to create a “college roadmap” to help them create a tournament schedule as well as assist them in the college recruitment process (which colleges to look for, which tournaments to sign up for, how to contact coaches etc.)

 

Chesapeake Bay Golf Club will give each junior on their first tournament round a flier with information on the recruitment process!
