Tournament Format & Conditions
The 2024 NSW Junior Championships and JNJG State Age Championships will be played at Liverpool Golf Club & Cabramatta Golf Club.
The following events will be played over 72 Holes;
- NSW Junior Championships
- JNJG State Age Championships (Scratch Divisions - Boys and Girls)
- JNJG State Age Championships (Nett Divisions - Girls Only)
- In the event of a tie for first place at the completion of 72 Holes in any Scratch Division, a sudden death playoff will take place.
- All other ties (Runner Up, 3rd Place, or any Nett Divisions) will be decided via a countback.
The following events will be played over 36 Holes;
- JNJG State Age Championships (Nett Divisions - Boys Only)
- NSW Junior Champion of Champions
- NSW Country Junior Championships
- Inter-District Teams Championships
- In the event of a tie for first place at the completion of 36 Holes in any Individual Event, an 18 Hole playoff will take place in conjunction with the third round.
- In the event of a tie for first place at the completion of 36 Holes in the Inter-District Teams Championships, it will be decided via a countback.
The Cut
Over the first two days of the tournament, all players will play 18 Holes at Liverpool Golf Club and 18 Holes at Cabramatta Golf Club.
At the conclusion of the second round (Wednesday evening), a cut will be made.
- The Top 100 Boys, Plus Ties, will make the cut and qualify for the final two rounds.
- In addition to the Top 100 Boys, a MINIMUM of 8 players from each age division will make the cut and qualify for the final two rounds.
- All BOYS who make the cut will play the final two rounds on Thursday and Friday at Cabramatta Golf Club.
- These players will compete for the NSW Junior Boys Championships and JNJG State Age Scratch Titles.
- All BOYS who miss the cut will not play on Thursday and Friday and only compete in the opening 36 holes.
- Based on the number of entries, there will be no cut in the GIRLS Division and all girls will play the final two rounds on Thursday and Friday at Liverpool Golf Club.
- These players will compete for the NSW Junior Girls Championships and JNJG State Age Scratch and Nett Titles.
Championship Committee
The Championship Committee will comprise the JNJG General Manager, Head Tournament Rules Official, or their appointees. In the absence of a full Championship Committee, such members that may be present at the time may give a decision, and any decision so given will be deemed to be a decision of the full Championship Committee.
