2024 New England Women's Amateur Championship

Practice Rounds: Starting Thursday, June 13, a practice round can be scheduled by contacting the Samoset Resort Pro Shop.
- Practice Rounds are subject to club availability during the seven days (June 18 - 24) prior to the Championship:
- The cost of a practice round will be $60 which includes a golf cart
- Caddies, family members, etc. may join a player (WALKING) for a practice round as a caddy or spectator, but are not permitted to ride in a cart during the practice round. Guests may join competitors as a player during a practice round, for the posted resort rate.
- To ensure all players have a chance to complete their practice round, please be aware of your pace of play and limit play to ONE BALL per hole.
- See the tab above for an approximate yardage chart for each division. Throughout the Championship, tees will be moved to various locations to allow for variety and are subject to changes due to weather and agronomic conditions.
Format: Competition will be 54-holes stroke play over three days. The field will be cut to the low 50 players (Prorated based on field size within each of the two tee sets) after 36-holes. The cut will be distributed (by percentage) from each of the two tee sets. The final cut distribution will be communicated on Monday, June 24th.
Schedule - Championship Proper:
Round 1 - June 25 (18 Holes)
Round 2 - June 26 (18 Holes) *Cut to Low 50 players plus ties*
Round 3 - June 27 (18 Holes)
The lowest scorer for 54 holes will be Champion.
If a tie for first place occurs, play will immediately continue hole-by-hole until a winner is determined. If ties for other positions occur, duplicate merchandise certificates will be awarded.
Caddies & Automotive Transportation: Players may use caddies during play. A player is not required to employ a caddie for any round of the competition. Players shall be permitted to use automotive transportation during play. The cost of cart transportation is included in the entry fee for all competitors. Please Note: The NEGA does NOT permit the use of more than two golf carts per group. Players may be required to share a cart, and the availability of a seat in a golf cart for a caddy is not guaranteed.
Food/Beverage: The NEGA will be providing a complimentary luncheon on June 25h & 26th for all players. Food & Beverage is available for purchase on the final day of the competition.
Starting Times: Round 1 Starting Times & Pairings can be found via the "Starting Times & Pairings" tab above. Round 2 starting times will be based on Round 1 Score, with Championship Tee players playing prior to Tournament Tee players. Round 3 pairings will be based on cumulative score with Tournament Tee players playing prior to Championship Tee players.

Inclement Weather/Cancelled Round Stipulation: The NEGA reserves the right to alter any of the conditions and schedules herein.
Restrictions: If the Championship course is declared unplayable and as a result it is not possible to complete the 54 holes of play in the period in which the Championship is scheduled, the Championship will not be extended beyond the last scheduled day and the winner shall be the individual who returns the lowest score for the number of stipulated rounds played. The Committee may institute a cut in order to play the last stipulated round.

Withdrawal/Refund Policy
Competitors, who have submitted an entry for an NEGA event and wish to withdraw for any reason, MUST notify the NEGA office in writing (e-mail is acceptable and encouraged) or by phone. Entry fee will be refunded less a $20 administrative fee, regardless of reason, if the NEGA is notified in writing or by phone seven days prior to each event. Entry fee will be refunded less 50% for any withdrawals received less than seven days prior to each event. No refund will be processed for a withdrawal notification that is received on the scheduled date of an event (Championship or Qualifier).
