Senior Men’s Inter-Club Munster Final at 1.30pm
Revive Active Women’s Munster Four-Ball Final at 2.20pm
Practice
Each Club shall have afforded one free of charge practice round for their Panel. The panel for both is team and 4 reserves = 14. Please contact Thurles Golf Club on (0504) 21983 option Pro shop to arrange your practice tee time. Please book in groups rather than single bookings.
All other practice rounds are liable to payment of a reduced green fee of €25, or competition fee if players wish to play in open days on Thursday each week. Open week 1-6 August.
On the day of the Area Final and Regional Semi-Finals, no practice shall be allowed on the golf course prior to play, use of the designated Club practice ground, putting green, hitting nets or short game area only.
Tees
Senior Men’s Inter-Club shall be from the White Tees
Revive Active Women’s Munster Four-Ball shall be from the Red Tees
Catering
Catering is a matter between the competing Clubs and the Host Club caterer. Please contact Neman on (0504) 21983 option bar and restaurant.
Car Parking
Thurles Golf Club strongly encourage Clubs to carpool.
Advice in Team Competitions
As per Golf Ireland Regulation 6.6, each Team may only have one Advice Giver.
Remember, the Advice Giver may not point out the line of play on the Green or walk on the Green when the ball of a Team Player lies on the green.
Caddies
As per Golf Ireland Regulation 5.3 in inter-club competitions where the format involves pairs (i.e. foursomes, four-ball etc), caddies are prohibited and not allowed for the above events.
Golf Buggies
Only Players and Team Captains in possession of a Certificate of Disability may use a Golf Buggy. The onus is on such persons to provide their own or hire a local Golf Buggy (subject to availability). It is not Golf Ireland’s responsibility to provide or guarantee availability. Permission from the host club must be sought in advance.
Submission of Teams
Each Team captain shall submit their Team and Reserves to the Golf Ireland Official no later than 30 mins before their match start. Please use the Team sheet you have being using to date. A Golf Ireland Official will be available to accept your team sheet.
