Congratulations on reaching the Competitive Area Final of either the AIG Men's Jimmy Bruen Shield (North & South) & AIG Women's Minor Foursomes (North & South)
The Northern & Southern Area Finals will be played at Banbridge Golf Club on Sunday 18 August 2024 as follows:
10:00 Men's Jimmy Bruen Shield (South) Clandeboye v Belvoir Park
10:45 Women's Minor Foursomes (South) Shandon Park v Banbridge
11:30 Men's Jimmy Bruen Shield (North) Moyola Park v City of Derry
12:15 Women's Minor Foursomes (North) Fintona v Portstewart
We will add an on-course scoring page to the Golf Ireland website for each final. This will be accessed via the link to the tournament's home page in each area, entitled Regional Final.
Practice rounds can be booked by contacting the club's professional shop – the first round at playing with a member rate, max £20
As this will be a busy day in the club, your catering requirements for the day should be organised with the host club in advance by ringing +44 28 4066 2211
The day will be played from Tee Markers for Men (White) & Women (Red).
The local rules governing play will be shown on the Golf Ireland Hard Card and NOT the club scorecard or noticeboard – any club-specific local rules will be notified to players on the first tee. A copy of the GI Hard Card has been added to the home page of these competitions on the Golf Ireland website under Player Information.
The Ulster North & South Pennant's presentation will occur immediately after the conclusion of each series of matches. The Men's & Women's presentations from the Northern Section will be jointly carried out and separately from the Men's & Women's from the Southern Section. Players will be informed on the first tee as to the location of the presentation.
Team Captains MUST report, with details of their team, to the Golf Ireland Officials present at the venue no later than 30 minutes before their allocated tee time - it would greatly assist in the preparation for the day if Team Captains could email kevinstevens@golfireland.ie in advance with their team in playing order. This would not be released online and in any case could be changed in accordance with the 30 minute rule above.
