Congratulations on reaching either the Regional Final or Regional Semi-Final in one of these competitions, the final of which are being played at Warrenpoint on Sunday 21 July 2024.

 

The schedule for the day is as follows;

12:35 + 12.44 - Men's Barton Shield (North) Fortwilliam or Letterkenny v Royal Portrush or Moyola Park

12:53, 13:02 + 13.11 - Women's Senior Foursomes (North) Malone v Royal Portrush

13.24 + 13.33 - Men's Barton Shield (South) Slieve Russell or Clandeboye v Belvoir Park

13.42, 13.51 + 14:00 - Women's Senior Foursomes (South) Lurgan v Bangor

We are creating a scoring page for the finals, which will be added to the Golf Ireland website. It will be accessed via the link to the tournament's home page.

 

Practice rounds can be booked by contacting the club office – the first round at playing with a member rate, max £20.

 

Your catering requirements for the day should be organised with the host club either in advance (preferably) or on the day.

 

The day will be played from the Golf Ireland Tee Markers for Men (White) & Women (Red).

 

The local rules governing play will be shown on the Golf Ireland Hard Card and NOT the club scorecard or noticeboard – any club-specific local rules will be notified to players on the first tee.

In the coming days, a copy of the GI Hard card will be added to the Barton Shield / Senior Foursomes pages on the Golf Ireland website, under the Player Lounge.

The Ulster North & South Pennant's presentation will occur immediately after the conclusion of each series of matches with the Ulster Chairman Brian Hutchinson. The Men's & Women's from the Northern Section will be jointly carried out, and separately the Men's & Women's from the Southern Section. Players will be informed on the first tee as to the location of the presentation.

 

Team Captains MUST physically hand over their team sheet at least 30 minutes before the first tee time in their series of matches to either Linda Bradshaw or Billy McCaul at Warrenpoint.

It would greatly assist us with the preparation for the day if all Team Captains could email kevinstevens@golfireland.ie with their expected team for the day. This will remain confidential until released on the website 30 mins before play commences. Changes will be able to be made to that team until the submission of the team sheet 30 mins before play.

 

The four winning teams will progress to the All-Ireland Quarter-Finals of these competitions.
