Congratulations on reaching the Competitive Area Final of the AIG Senior Cup 2024

 

The Northern & Southern Area Finals will be played at Portstewart Golf Club on Sunday 11 August 2024 as follows:

Men’s AIG Senior Cup (North) – Galgorm Castle vs Malone
Tee Times from 8.15 am to 8.55 am

Women’s AIG Senior Cup (North) Malone v Royal Portrush
Tee Times from 9.05 am to 9.45 am

Women’s AIG Senior Cup (South) Belvoir Park v Clandeboye or RCD Ladies
Tee Times from 10.00 am to 10.40 am

Men’s AIG Senior Cup (South) Tandragee v Warrenpoint

Tee Times from 10.50 am to 11.30 am

 

We are creating a scoring page for the finals, which will be added to the Golf Ireland website. It will be accessed via the link to the tournament's home page in each area.

 

Practice rounds can be booked by contacting the club professional shop – the first round at playing with a member rate, max £20 thereafter £90

 

Your catering requirements for the day should be organised with the host club either in advance (preferably) or on the day.

 

The day will be played from the following Tee Markers for Men (Blue) & Women (Red).

 
The local rules governing play will be shown on the Golf Ireland Hard Card and NOT the club scorecard or noticeboard – any club-specific local rules will be notified to players on the first tee. In the coming days, a copy of the GI Hard Card will be added to the Senior Cup pages on the Golf Ireland website, under the Player Information.

The Ulster North & South Pennant's presentation will occur immediately after the conclusion of each series of matches with the Ulster Chairman Brian Hutchinson and the Host Club Captain/s. The Men's & Women's presentation from the Northern Section will be jointly carried out, and separately the Men's & Women's from the Southern Section. Players will be informed on the first tee as to the location of the presentation.

Team Captains MUST report, with details of their team, to the Golf Ireland Officials present at the venue no later than 30 minutes before their allocated tee time - it would greatly assist in the preparation for the day if Team Captains could email kevinstevens@golfireland.ie in advance with their team in playing order. This would not be released online and in any case could be changed in accordance with the 30 minute rule above.
