TUESDAY NIGHT LADIES LEAGUE

5:00 Shotgun – ALL 3 9’s 

3-4 Flights - 15-week Season  

  • 2 Person Team Match Play 

  • Standings based on overall points 

  • 1 point per hole won, ½ point for hole tied 

  • 1 point for match won. 

  • 10 POINTS MAX PER MATCH 

  • FORMATS  

  • Best Ball – Net Best Score one each hole 

  • Scramble – Both players hit, select best shot, hit again, continue until ball is holed 

  • AZ Scramble – Both players hit, select best shot, play own ball until balls are holed 

  • Chapman Scotch – Both players hit, switch balls and hit, select best shot and alternate until ball is holed 

  • Rotate format and course each week 

  • Tees – Red (Lakes/Falls)  

COST (FEES MUST BE PAID BY OPENING NIGHT)  

  • Golf Members:  $200 (Billed to Account)  

  • $100 MANDATORY CASH 

  • Sportsman Members: $687.50 (Billed to the account. This rate includes green fees - $487.50 and league fees - $200.00)

  • $100 MANDATORY CASH 

  • Guest Players on team:  $762.50 (Paid on first night of league. This rate includes green fees - $562.50 and league fees - $200.00.)  

  • $100 MANDATORY CASH                                     

  • SUBS (NON-MEMBERS) WILL PAY $37.50 (Member Guest rate) for a green fee 

  • If sub does not check in with the golf shop and pay green fee prior to the round the green fee will be charged to the member's account they are subbing for.

    • Best Ball - 50% NET SKINS

    • Chapman - 60% + 40% Chapman 

  • The Scallon Rule - If someone has a hole-n-one during ladies league they win the skins pot for all flights! (Excluding Subs) 

 

 

 

RULES 

  • GHIN Handicap Required 

    • There will be a 10 shot differential between partners. The higher handicap will be adjusted accordingly. 

  • Deadline for subs will be 9 AM Tuesday 

  • Scorecards and Posting 

  • No scorecards will be printed. Each team will be responsible for Golf Genius (GG). You can find strokes for each match on GG. Regular Pelican Lakes scorecards can be used to confirm scores enter into GG. FOLLOWING THE ROUND, ONE PLAYER FROM EACH TEAM MUST COMPARE SCORES ENTERED INTO GG. SCORES ARE FINAL ONCE WE COMPLETE THE ROUND ON GG. GOLF SHOP WILL POST SCORES EACH WEEK IF APPLICAL. 

  • USGA RULES + PL Local Rules govern all play. If a rules violation occurs, it is the responsibility of the player and the group to discuss the violation. If the group is unable to determine the correct ruling, please call the Pro Shop 

  • Rainouts 

  • The Pelican Lakes Professional Staff will be the final decision makers to determine whether all league matches are to be canceled due to inclement weather and for rescheduling. This decision will be made as soon as possible on league night and teams will be notified via email if matches are canceled.  

  • Make-up Matches 

  • If a team is unable to play on league night, it is the responsibility of the team with the conflict to contact the other team and schedule a time to play prior to the to the last day of the league. If a player knows in advance that he will be out of town on league night, it is her responsibility to contact her partner, opponents and golf shop to reschedule. Matches can be played prior or after the scheduled league night. All players must use their handicaps as of their scheduled match. 

  • If your opponents are a no show.  You will play against Par with full handicaps for the team. Please remember golf is a game of honor so please be honest when playing without opponents. 

  • Substitutes 

  • Anyone that carries a current handicap is welcome to be a sub in this league. There will be a 15 shot differential between partners. The higher handicap will be adjusted accordingly. Although guests can be subs, we will prefer it if you find a member first. If a player is already on a team but she is not scheduled to play during the time of the match, that player is an eligible sub. Substitutes are not regular team members, do not pay league fees and are therefore ineligible to win prizes. If a sub wins a skin, the money is awarded to the team members. If the team chooses to give the money to the sub that is their choice. 

 

 

 

Playoffs – AZ Scramble 

 

 

League Playoff Format: 

The top 8 teams from each flight make the playoffs.  The first 4 weeks of the playoffs will determine flight winners. The last week of the playoffs will consist of the 3 flight winners playing for the overall championship

 

 

September 24th – Elite 8    

October 1st – Final 4

October 8th –Flight Championships  

October 15th – Overall Championships 

 

  • Subs are allowed highly discouraged for both time slots playoffs. Only under dire circumstances will subs be allowed. All teams built as three players for the season can pick who plays in the playoffs.
