Rules of Play

                              

 

Distance Measuring Devices:  Distance Measuring Devices are permitted for use as long as they do not read slope and/or wind.

 

Pace of Play: Players will be asked to please keep up with the group ahead. Push Carts are allowed to assist with pace of play.

 

Out of Bounds / Penalty AreasOut of bounds is determined by the fence line. All other areas are to be played as part of the course.

 

Bunkers: Stones, leaves and other loose impediments may be removed from a bunker with no penalty. Please be sure to smooth out any sand disturbed by a player’s shot.

 

Putting Green: The flagstick is allowed to remain in the hole or removed before a stroke is made at the hole. Be sure to repair any spike or ball marks made during play.

Scoring: The maximum score on a given hole will be triple bogey (max score of 7)

 

Divisions & Format:

  • Tiger Paws - recommended age 5-6  (boys and girls) / Scramble (caddie required)
  • Player - recommended age 7-9 (boys and girls) / Sceamble (caddie required)
  • Links FORE Fun - ages 5-9 / “FUN” Format - 2-4 person Scramble (caddie required)

 

All divisions will use scramble format (captain’s choice).Teams of two will compete against other teams within their division. Both players tee off, select the best drive and then hit from that position. Repeat this process until the ball is holed. Players may move the ball within one club-length through the course and one-putter head length on the green, no closer to the hole. Other than rough to fairway, the playing surface must remain the same.

 

Scorers Area: Scorecards must be signed, attested and submitted to the scorer’s table immediately upon completion of the final hole.

 

Rules Committee: The tournament rules committee will have the final decision on all rulings on the golf course. Please review the USGA Rules of Golf prior to play.
