List of Participants in Junior Golf Camps
Development Tour: Designed for the beginner new to the game.
In the development tour, our instructors will introduce the basics of the game while incorporating games and activities which will keep the juniors interested and excited about the game.
Juniors DO NOT need to have their own clubs. The club provides them at no cost for the week. We do ask the parents to see a staff member prior to the camp to ensure the appropriate size of clubs for the junior.
Player’s Tour: Designed for the junior golfer who is ready to expand on their skills.
In the player’s tour, our instructors reinforce basic skills and dig deeper into the golf swing. Along with focusing on the swing, we spend more time on the Golf Course and focus on scoring and the rules of golf.
Juniors DO need to have their own clubs. Player’s should be able to carry their own bag and have a basic understanding of the game of golf, including scoring, rules and courtesy.
The levels above are NOT based upon age, but instead upon ability.
If you are unsure what level your child will be suited for, please contact us at 928-286-1110 or come by the Golf Shop and see a golf staff member to have your child assessed. We will spend 10 – 15 minutes with your child to make the proper assessment.
