Convoy For Kids History and Charity Information

 

Convoy for kids - is one of the best-known and most well-supported charity golf days in Thailand.

 

The event proceeds go to The Sri Sangwal School in Pakred which helps rehabilitate and educate handicapped children. Convoy for Kids was started in 2000 by a few transport and logistics companies which is made up of The Logistics Sub-Committee of The Australian-Thai Chamber of Commerce.

 

Our aim is to put some fun into the lives of handicapped and underprivileged children as well as give them some financial support. Our main event Kids Day Out each year is usually in November when we take over 200 children from The Pakred school in Nonthaburi, Sister Joan’s Klong Toey Slums Project, and the Bang Sue area for a fun day out. Our Golf Day was started in 2002 to help raise further funds for the charity.

 

We are currently taking action to register as an authorised charity. Join us and help us help them, your donations whether cash or in kind will be gratefully received and put to good use.
