The tournament will be a 27-hole, stroke play, handicapped event. Players compete as 2-man teams.

They can either choose their partner or ask to be assigned by the committee.

The format is the first 18 holes are a best-ball format (best score of two). The last 9 holes are a both ball format (both scores).

The team with the lowest 27-hole total wins. In the event of a tie, a both-ball sudden death will be used.

Note: The Calcutta auction and horserace betting are conducted outside of the running of this event.
