Welcome to the 2024 San Francisco City Championship, presented by AmateurGolf.com.

The Men's Pre-Qualifier is the starting line for one of the most popular and historic city championships in the country. Below is some important information for players:

SCHEDULE

Contestants will play an 18-hole qualifying round at Presidio Golf Course on Friday, March 8. Top finishers will advance to the SF City Men's Championship, which starts with a 36-hole stroke play qualifier on Sat-Sun, March 9-10 (on round each on Presidio and TPC Harding Park).

STARTING TIMES

Pairings will be released to this portal no later than Sunday, March 3. Play will be off the #1 and #10 tees between 7:30am and 9:30am.

TEES

We will be playing the Black tees at ~6500 yards. Exact yardages will be subject to weather and course conditions.

QUALIFYING SPOTS

There will be a minimum of 36 qualifying spots from the Pre-Qualifier. The specific number of qualifying spots will be relayed to players before teeing off. A playoff will be conducted to break any tie for the final qualifying spot(s) immediately after completion of play. In the event of a playoff, a player must be present in order to retain his right to participate in the playoff.

COLLECTION OF ENTRY FEES FOR SUCCESSFUL QUALIFIERS

The entry fee for the Pre-Qualifier was $165, and all successful qualifiers will be charged $230 to complete the $395 entry fee for the SF City Men's Championship. After play, AmateurGolf.com will attempt to charge $230 to the same card used for the original registration. In the event that the transaction is unsuccessful, you will be contacted immediately and will be given further instructions for making payment, which must be done before teeing off on Saturday for the SF City Men's Championship.

Successful qualifiers will have their Sat-Sun tee times emailed to them, and they will also be available on the San Francisco City tournament website and at the tournament portal for the Men's Championship.
