Flight Ties:
In the event of a tie for the first place in any flight, the winner will be determined by the total points achieved during a head-to-head competition. Ties for second and third place shall be broken in the same manner.
Wild Card Shootout Teams: Wild card teams will be allowed into the shootout. A team can qualify as a wild card by tying or better each of the 5 nine-hole matches ( a team does not lose a match ). If no teams qualify by tying or better each match, then the wild card will do to the highest 2nd place point team in a flight. If there is a tie for highest 2nd place points, a tie-breaker will be done in order of highest points achieved against their respective flight winner, if a tie still exists, the tie breaker will go to the highest points achieved by their respective 3rd place team in the flight and so on.
Shootout Format:
The Shootout is the final event for all flight winners.
The Shootout format will be modified, alternate shot and begin on holes ten, eleven and twelve. Stokes will be figured by reducing the combined tournament handicap of the team by 50%. Continuous putting is required, NO GIMMIES. The five lowest aggregate team scores will proceed to hole sixteen, the three lowest aggregate team scores on sixteen will move on to hole seventeen with the final two lowest aggregate team scores competing on the eighteenth hole to be the overall winner. Any ties to advance will be determined by a chip-off. Teams may elect which player they wish to chip. Only one person will chip off. The team(s) whose ball comes to rest furthest from the hole will be eliminated. The ball must be on the green to be eligible, regardless of distance from the hole. Teams who have yet to chip off MAY NOT WATCH & NO PUTTING IS ALLOWED. Final hole ties will be broken by a sudden death starting on Hole #18. This process will be repeated until a winner is determined.
