As example, if you score a 5 on a Par 4 hole and for handicap purposes you get a 1 stroke on that hole, then your gross bogey (5) is a net par (4) and you would record 2 points for that Stableford hole. Your total score is the cumulative points for all 18 holes.
Please note, that even though Stableford is a form of stoke play, you get 0 points for a Double Bogey or worse. In this case and in this case only, you may stop playing a hole after double bogey for pace of play, but still need to record the score for that hole in GHIN for handicap purposes.
Modified Stableford (Net) (Full Handicap) – Individual stroke play event and 100% full handicap. Your score is based on the following format: (Double Bogey = -3) (Bogey = -1 pt), (Par = 1pts), (Birdie = 3pts), (Eagle = 5 pts), (Double Eagle = 8 pts).
As example, if you score a 5 on a Par 4 hole and for handicap purposes you get a 1 stroke on that hole, then your gross bogey (5) is a net par (4) and you would record 1 points for that Modified Stableford hole. Your total score is the cumulative points for all 18 holes.
Please note, that even though Modified Stableford is a form of stoke play, you get -3 points for a Double Bogey or worse. In this case and in this case only, you may stop playing a hole after double bogey for pace of play, but still need to record the score for that hole in GHIN for handicap purposes.

You will compete against specific individuals (members) who are in the following flights (see below). Individuals can note their specific flight marked on the scorecard prior to tee-off, however digital scoring will assign you in the correct flight for tournament purposes. The typical handicap flights are A (0-14), B (15-19) and C (19+). but can change based on number of entrants.
Quota (Net) (Full Handicap) - Individual stroke play event and 100% full handicap. Your goal is to meet or exceed your adjusted quota point total of 36 points. Individuals can play either blue or white tees and submit scores for each respective tee. You must specify which tees you are playing before the round.
Your initial quota is adjusted by your playing handicap (current HCP and specific tees) and a total point allocation of 36. As an example, if your course handicap for the whites is now 15, then your quota is (36-15) = 21. You goal is to meet or exceed your quota of 21. If the person you're playing with is a 10 from then whites, then their quote is 26, in other words they need to earn more points relative to you.
Your score is based on the following format: (Bogey=1 pt), (Par=2pts), (Birdie=4pts), (Eagle=8pts), (Double Eagle=16 pts), (Hole in one =24 pts). Please note that these points are for gross pars, gross birdies and so on because your handicap is used in determining your quota goal. Again, the golfer who beats 36 points (based on handicap adjusted quota) by the most is the winner.
Please note, that even though Quota, like Stableford is a form of stoke play, you get 0 points for a Double Bogey or worse. In this case and in this case only, you may stop playing a hole after double bogey for pace of play, but still need to record the score for that hole in GHIN for handicap purposes.
