Welcome to the 2024 San Francisco City Championship, presented by AmateurGolf.com.
The Open Flights competition has long been an important part of the rich tradition of "The City", and this year is no different. Below is some important information for players:
SCHEDULE
Contestants will play an 18-hole qualifying round at Presidio Golf Course on either Sat Feb 24 or Sun Feb 25. All players should be prepared to play on either day as no schedule requests will be taken.

SCORING
All scoring will be electronic using Golf Genius. We encourage you to download the app if you don't have it already. Each group will be given a unique GGID to use when entering scores and we will verify at the scoring table after the round.
On each hole of the stroke play qualifier only, per Rule 21.2, there will be a maximum score of triple bogey (+3) on any hole. If your next shot on a hole is for triple bogey, please pick up and record triple bogey for your score.
SCORE POSTING
We will post scores to GHIN for all rounds.
PRACTICE
Practice rounds are not included in the tournament entry fee, and players must contact the golf course to arrange a practice round. Practice rounds are available at the course subject to the San Francisco City and County approved green fee rates and current reservation system requirements.
The practice areas at TPC Harding Park and Presidio golf courses will open at 6:45am on all tournament days.
CADDIES/TRANSPORTATION
The use of carts is optional, and players may walk, use a push/pull cart, have a caddie, or ride in a golf cart. Contestants wanting to use a golf cart will be charged the appropriate fees posted at each golf course. Golf carts will be subject to course conditions at the time of play, i.e., cart path only, 90 degree rule, etc.
