- Scramble RULES:
- A scramble means that all team members tee off on each hole and then decide which tee shot they like the best and mark the spot with a tee or ball marker.
- The other team members pick up their balls and place them within one club length (no closer to the hole) of the marked spot. Each team member hits their next shot from the chosen spot of the prior shot.
- If the ball you choose to play is in a penalty area or the rough, you cannot drop the ball outside of the penalty area or rough even if relief is within one club length away.
- This procedure is followed on every shot for the remainder of the hole, including putts. The ball should be marked on the putting green also. You only need ONE score on each hole for the TEAM score.
- Putts need to be placed within 3 inches of the marked spot (no closer to the hole). The first ball to go in the hole is counted for the team score. When putting, once any ball is holed out, no further strokes count. The team is cautioned not to make “tap” in putts until Both team members have had the opportunity to attempt the team’s original putt.
- Men tee off from the white tee markers and women from the red tee markers.
- Penalty areas are marked with Red and Yellow stakes and lines.
- EACH TEAM MUST USE TWO DRIVES FROM EACH PLAYER ON THE FRONT NINE AND THE BACK NINE. MARK IT ON THE SCORECARD WHICH DRIVE WAS USED.
- Swap scorecards with other team for score keeping.
- Out of bounds is marked with white lines and stakes. Property fence lines are out of bounds.
- Closest to the pin contests on #4 and #7 for All Ladies
- Closest to the pin contests on #13 and #17 for All Men
- Contests winners receive a Titleist Vokey SM-10 wedge!
- We will be doing LIVE scoring via Golf Genius App. One person in each group (foursome) will enter in app. One other person shall keep track on scorecard. Please enter scores as you play in the app. Once finished cross check against scorecard and all players must sign card. Any cards that are turned in with out scores in golf genius will be disqualified. This helps expedite final scores and score the tournament right away! Thank you!
- We will be playing in groups of 8! This is a fun interactive way to meet other golfers and play faster in a scramble format with a full field! For example, both foursomes that start on 3A will all play together.
- As always, let’s leave the golf course a better place then we found it!
