LADIES CHALLENGE CUP

The Ladies Challenge Cup (LCC) was established to promote competitive interest in the game of golf, with competition among member clubs using match play format.  Currently there are 9 member clubs and the format for 2024 is round robin.  The season begins in January and runs through September.  Each member club fields a team of ten (10) players with a handicap of 25 or less.  The Clubs of Kingwood members sign up for individual matches two weeks in advance and the team captain pulls the lowest ten handicaps from all that have signed up.  Players #1 and #2 will compete against players #1 and #2 of the opposing team for two separate categories - Best Ball Gross and Best Ball Net.  Each match will consist of 18 holes, with one point for gross and one point for net being awarded on each hole.  Totals awarded for each match will be totaled to determine the match winner.  Awards and a Pro-Am tournament occur in November each year to announce the winners.
