In the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur Championship, players may use a club caddie, bring their own caddie, use a pushcart, carry their own clubs or ride in a golf cart (or some combination of each). The number of caddies needed by a host club will vary with each site depending on the terrain of the golf course, the weather, the availability of caddies and the proposed caddie fee. We anticipate a need for approximately 30 – 40 club caddies.

An individual who is chosen to be a club caddie for the event must commit for the dates of September 19 through September 22 (the practice rounds and the stroke play sessions of the event).  If your player continues into the match play portion, it is up to the player if they want to continue using your services.

If you are chosen as a club caddie, you will be required to participate in a caddie training session prior to the event in September.  The date of this training is to be determined.

All caddies are expected to have a good understanding of the course, the rules of golf and golf etiquette, to assist their player when requested.  Additionally, you must be able to handle and manage the players golf bag, trollies are allowed if you choose not to carry the bag.

Compensation is $80 per day, and you are guaranteed 4 days.  You are allowed to wear your own clothes (Broadmoor Golf attire) and you will be given a USGA caddie bib with your players’ name each day.

Players qualify throughout the summer and register for the Championship along the way up until early September. Players indicate their caddies needs at that time, and some last-minute requests do come in. Caddies are assigned via a blind draw.  If you are not selected as a club caddie, we would encourage you to sign up as a volunteer in any of the other areas of need for the Championship.
