The Anita Baarns Cup originated in 2019 by Anita Baarns, a member of the Chevy Chase Club (CCC) and the Loudoun Golf & CC in VA.  Anita served as CCC team captain competing in the 2013 WDCGA Division VI team matches.  Her CCC team won that division, and Anita is sponsoring this Cup in honor of her team.  Anita presently serves as WDCGA representative for the CCC.

Anita is a Signature member of the Society of Animal Artists, and has been creating commissioned paintings, pastels and drawings of animals since 1993. Examples of her art can be viewed on anitabaarns.com.
