LEAGUE RULES

 

1. GIMMIE RULE  To help with pace of play, all putts within 18" can be picked up.  Each pin will have a ring 18 inches from the bottom and can be used to measure the ones that are too close to call! All putts for birdie or better MUST be finished out.

2. SEARCH TIME FOR A LOST BALL - The allotted time to search for a lost ball is now 3 minutes.

3. MAXIMUM SCORE -  The max you can score on a hole is  4-over Par; 7 on a Par 3, 8 on a Par 4 and 9 on a Par 5… After that, pick up! 

4. UNFORTUNATE LIES - With your playing partners consent, balls may be dropped away from tree roots and any other dangerous lies.  You will not incur a penalty stroke.

5. PENALTIES - All are one stroke, including out of bounds and penalty areas (water & lateral hazards), lost balls and unplayable lies.  Drop a ball in the field of play near where the original ball crossed the line or was lost.  Field of play is the first cut of rough.  Example:  If you hit your ball out of bounds on Hole #13, take two club lengths from where the ball last crossed.

6. UNPLAYABLE LIES OUT OF A BUNKER -  If you would like to remove your ball out of a sand trap, you may take an unplayable lie.   You can take full relief, no closer to the hole.  You will incur a TWO-SHOT Penalty.

7. PREFERRED LIES (Through the Green)- a ball that is lying in an area “through the green” (fairway, cut rough & bunkers) may be lifted without penalty and cleaned. The ball may be moved up to the length of a score card no closer to the hole.  The ball must be kept in the same condition it came to rest in: ie- It can not be moved from the rough, to the fairway.

The league portal will be the homepage for our Women's League.  You will be able to look up results, check your tee time, track your stats and so much more.  We suggest you bookmark this page or add it to your favourites!

Week 1 is scheduled for Tuesday, May 14th

Please note; Week 2 on Tuesday, May 21st will be a 5:00pm Shotgun with a dinner following the round!

 

Tee Times

Tee times will be generated through the Golf Genius League software. (They will not be displayed on Tee-On).  Each player will have to confirm their participation no later than 48 hours before each league day There are two ways to do so; A reminder email will be sent out each week.  In the email there will have two options- ‘Playing’ and ‘Not Playing’.  You will also be able to confirm your participation in the Member Portal area on the right-hand side.  Tee times will be sent out via email the day before.

 

Requests

 If you have a request, Ie. Change of time slot, please send it using portal messages. A portal message can be sent through the Round Invitation email.  Once you click ‘Playing’ or ‘Not Playing”, it will take you to a page to send a message to the manager.   We would like all requests in one central location.   Requests emailed to myself or the Golf Shop will not be accommodated.

 

League Overview:

 

  • The format is a Individual Stroke Play/Play your own ball (9 Holes)...  You are still allowed to pay 18 Holes!..Only the first 9 counts towards Women's League Scoring
  • Once selected, you will be a part of a Team that will face off in head-to-head Matches each week.  The top 7 net scores will count towards the team total.  10 points will be awarded for a team win, 5 points for a draw.  The teams that accumulates the most points throughout the Women's League season will be Champions!
  • Each week prize money (Golf Shop Credit) will be paid out for: Pins, Skins, Low Team  Low Net & Low Gross
