About the Team:

Eight (8) golfers and two (2) alternates will be selected to represent Maryland. The eight (8) member Maryland team will compete against an eight (8) player team from Virginia in a series of Four-Ball matches on Saturday, June 15, 2024 and eight (8) Singles matches on Sunday, June 16, 2024.  A practice round will be held for all players on Friday, June 14, 2024.

How to apply for the Poindexter Cup matches

(AND the Middle Atlantic Challenge matches to be held in July, 2024):

• Submit ONE APPLICATION to apply for BOTH the Poindexter and MAC teams.
• While all girls between the ages of 13 and 18 (as of May 1, 2024) are welcome to make an application, realistically players should have a Handicap Index of 9.9 or lower, routinely shoot in the low 80’s or better and play a significant number of competitive tournaments. 
• Be sure your USGA Handicap Index with the MSGA is active and current!
• Additional details on the application and selection processes may be found within the application.
• Your application MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
