2024 Nevada State Women's Quad Championship

TEE TIMES:

May 13: 7:00 AM tee time start 

May 14: 7:00 AM shotgun start (with awards luncheon to follow after the round)

 

FORMAT: 36-Hole, 2 Best Balls of Four person team

 

HANDICAPS: Maximum playing handicap is 36. Any player with a playing handicap of 37 or higher will have their playing handicap reduced to 36 for purposes of the competition. Playing handicaps will be calculated using a 85% handicap allowance per the Rules of Handicapping. Current handicaps as of Tuesday, May 7, 2024 will be used to determine playing handicaps for the competition.

 

PROJECTED YARDAGES: Please note that yardages are only projected. The committee reserves the right to move tees on certain holes on any day of the competition due but not limited to weather, course conditions, committee discretion.

 

 

 

ENTRY FEE: $1,080 for the team - $270 per individual (Includes 2 rounds of golf, golf cart, range balls, prize fund, awards, luncheon on May 14th following play)

 

FIELD SIZE: Limited to the first 25 teams. Once we reach our maximum field size, a waiting list will start. 

 

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: May 7, 2024 @ 5:00 PM PST - Refunds will not be offered after the registration close date. The Nevada State Refund Policy is below.

***You must have a player profile with the Nevada State Tournament Management Master Roster before this registration option may be used. Here is a link to create a profile on the Nevada State Master Roster if you  have not already done so.

 

REGISTRATION: There are two registration options to choose from. Please read carefully to select your preferred registration option:

• Team Registration Option: One player will register and pay for the two person team. NOTE: While only one player is registering for the team, both players must have a player profile with the Nevada State Tournament Management Master Roster before this registration option may be used. Here is a link to create a profile on the Nevada State Master Roster if you or your partner have not already done so.

 

• Individual Registration Option: If both you and your partner prefer to register and pay separately, you will use this option. You must include your partner's name in the field that asks for it during the registration process.

 

ELIGIBILITY: Must be an active member of either the Southern Nevada or Northern Nevada Golf Associations. Must have a verifiable handicap index.

 

AWARDS: Prizes in the form of gift cards will be awarded for the top gross and net finishers. Approximately 1/3 of the field will be paid.

 

PRACTICE ROUNDS: You can contact the pro shop to book a practice round. If you do, please mention you are a competitor of this event and they will honor the $100 practice round rate. Normally at this time, the rate is $165.

 

CADDIES: Caddies are not permitted for this event.

 

SPECTATORS: Spectators are allowed. Spectators must walk. No exceptions.

 

OTHER INFO: Soft spikes are required. Nevada State dress code is in effect. Non-conforming clubs are prohibited although we will not be enforcing the 2010 groove rule.

 

NEVADA STATE REFUND POLICY:  After the established deadline for a Nevada State event, players can only receive a refund if there is a waiting list of players and a wait listed player agrees to fill that spot. Cases such as death in the family or serious illness such as hospitalization can be reviewed on a case by case basis.

NOTE: There will be an automatic $25 processing fee associated with any refund issued for a cancellation prior to the registration closing date.
