Miramichi 2-MAN Scramble

Rules Sheet

Play is governed by the Rules and Decisions published by the RCGA, local rules and the following supplementary local rules:

The format of play is a two-person scramble.  Play will be from the White tee markers.  After choosing the ball to be played, the second ball may be played within one club length.  If the ball chosen is in the bunker, play must be from the bunker. Handicaps are 35% of the low player and 15% of the high player. Divisions are determined by total playing handicaps, not percentages.

 

1. If you are over the age of 75 and have a handicap over 15, you are eligible to play from the forward (RED) tees. (Please note on the scorecard)
2. POWER CARTS: Power carts are available for all golfers. ALL players taking power carts must pay the member rate, $19.50 (tax included). There are no exceptions for Miramichi Golf Club members.

• Out of bounds are identified by white stakes and/or white lines and/or fences surrounding the club’s property.
• Water hazards are identified by yellow stakes and/or yellow lines.
• Pace of Play rule In Effect.
• Please be keep a distance from all tee decks and greens with golf carts.
• Closest to the pins:
  • ALL PLAYERS: Hole 5
  • ALL PLAYERS: Hole 17

 

Scorecards must be signed and attested and returned to the committee immediately following play.  Tie break for Low Gross of the field will be a hole-by-hole sudden death starting on #1 (#1, #2, #3…..).  All other ties will be broken by matching scorecards.  Winner will be determined based on the best score for the last nine holes.  If the tying players have the same score for the last nine, the winner will be determined based on the last six holes, last three holes and finally the 18^th hole.  The last nine holes are 10-18 regardless of which hole is played first.
