TERMS OF THE COMPETITION & LOCAL RULES
Play is governed by the Golf Canada Rules of Golf, and, where applicable, by the following local rules.
Unless otherwise noted, the penalty for breach of a Local Rule is:
Stroke play – Two Strokes
- Out of Bounds – Defined by white stakes and posts. A ball is out of bounds when it is beyond the boundary defined by the markers.
- Play the ball as it lies.
- TEES: Ladies’ RED
- Keep up to the group in front of you. After one warning, you will be penalized for slow play.
- White marked areas, free relief, nearest point, no closer to hole.
- LOST BALL 18.2– A ball is considered lost if it is not found within three minutes after the player or their caddie begins searching for it. If the ball is not found within the three-minute search period, it is declared lost. When a ball is declared lost, the player must return to the spot of their previous stroke, take a one-stroke penalty, and hit another ball. Please hit a provisional ball if you believe you may not be able to find your ball.
- If your ball is in the hazard, you must take relief under the general rules of golf. (Point of entry, two club lengths, 1 stroke penalty.) Rule 16.1a2
- Ties for champion in each division will be decided by retrogression. In the event of a tie for the overall champion, a sudden death playoff will determine the winner.
- If in doubt of a ruling, play 2 balls and get a ruling after the round.
- Enjoy the golf and the spirit of competition.
- Maximum of 2 carts per tee time.
