CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP: In order to participate in the 9 hole Club Championship, players must have played in five (5) 9 hole events prior to the Club Championship.

All eligible members are encouraged to participate- This is a flighted event. Players will play the front 9

Payouts are awarded to an overall winner, as well as Gross and Net winners & several places in all flights. Please note payouts & payout places are determined by how many players sign up.

When signing up, please do not request a tee time or playing partner. Because the Club Championship is flighted - 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th flights etc., tee times and flights will be assigned based on handicap.

We will use handicap indexes for the two-day tournament from Sunday, August 11th

Day 1, 8/13 – Players with the lowest handicaps will be playing earliest.

Day 2 8/20 – Tee times will be determined based on scores from Day 1, with highest scores playing earliest, regardless of flight

Day 2 tee times will be released no later than Wednesday 8/14

Please note that for the CGWGC ClubChampionship each player must hole out their ball on all 9 holes. The net double bogey max rule is NOT in effect. Any player who does not hole out all 9 holes will be DQ’d

If there is inclement weather for any part of either day of the Club Championship, the CGWGC Tournament Committee reserves the right to suspend or terminate the remaining holes or days of the Club Championship and declare a winner based on "X" holes played. The number "X" will be decided by the Tournament Committee.

RINGERS TOURNAMENT: In order to be eligible for Ringers, players must have played in 50% of playdays as of end of day 10/31.
Ringer board
A ringer board in GOLF GENIUS will show the best score each player has posted on Playdays at CG during the CGWGC season.The gross ringer board displays the best gross score for each hole, whereas the net ringer board would show the best net score on each hole.
Ringer tournament
The ringer tournament is one in which the best score posted on each hole by a player during the CGWGC season at CG during playdays is added up for one 9-hole score total for each player for the season. CGWGC awards lowest gross ringer and lowest net ringer at the end of the season.
