Cancellation of Tee Times after 5PM FRIDAY
DO NOT CALL THE PRO SHOP TO CANCEL YOUR TEE TIME
CGWGC Cancellation of Tee Times:
- If the league cancels a playday for any reason, players will be notified via text, email and/or
through the Golf Genius app.
- If the course is open and playable, the league will play, and the fees for late tee time
cancellations are in effect.
- There are times when inclement weather makes playing unpleasant, but the course is still
open and playable. If the tournament chairs decide this to be the case, players will be notified
via text, email and/or through the Golf Genius app that the weather is inclement and there will
be no late cancellation fees imposed if players choose not to play. If this occurs, you must still
cancel your tee time, email 18holetournamentcgwgc@gmail.com

ONE TIME LATE CANCELLATION BYE
CGWGC realizes that members of our leagues have good intentions and acknowledge that when a tee time is made players plan to play. Because of this CGWGC has a one-time bye per player, per season for a late cancellation.
-
- Players in the CGWGC have a one-time bye for the season when a late tee time cancellation occurs.
-
- DO NOT CALL THE PRO SHOP TO CANCEL YOUR TEE TIME The player must notify their league’s tournament chair of the cancellation before the tee time. 18holetournamentcgwgc@gmail.com
-
- No shows - In order for the one-time allowance to apply without charging the late fee, the player must contact/notify their league’s tournament chair of the cancellation before the tee time, and the player cannot be a no-show. No-shows have a terrible impact on the tee sheet and on the players in the group and aren’t considered a bye.
-
- The money collected for late fees is used by CGWGC to purchase CommonGround gift cards that are then awarded back to the league players as prizes and raffles during our tournaments and social events; it goes back to the league players.
-
- CGWGC tracks late tee time cancellations, communicates, and collects the late fee when due.
