There are 2 drop zones in effect for the CGWGC League Play

Hole 6 & hole 17 each have a drop zone.

On hole 6 you may use the drop zone to hit your 2nd shot if your ball goes in the water. ( You do not have to use the drop zone if you prefer to use the other rules for a ball hit into a red staked penalty area. If you use the drop zone it is a 1 stroke penalty, as are the other options.

On hole 17, if your ball goes into the ditch, you may look for It for 3 minutes and if you do not find it you may proceed to the drop zone for a 1 stroke penalty.  You may also choose not to look for it and proceed directly to the drop zone. REMEMBER,

If you find your ball--   you MUST (1) play the ball as it lies for zero strokes, (2) or take an unplayable and utilize the options for an unplayable ball.

You may not look for your ball, find it and then decide you want to hit from the drop ozone.

 CHOOSE WISELY!

LOCAL MODEL RULES NOT IN EFFECT DURING CGWGC play:
