RECORDING OF PLAYDAY TOURNAMENT SCORES

 

• Players will be handed their group scorecard in the Pro shop.
• All 4 players will be on1 scorecard with the pace of play on there as well. 
• Players must attest with the scorekeepers after each hole and confirm at the end of the round. Scorecards must be turned into the pro shop at the end of the round. 
• Players will post scores hole-by-hole via the Golf Genius app throughout the round.  GOLF GENIUS should be downloaded to all players' phones. Players will use a GGID specific to their foursome which will be  located on the scorecard.
• Players should not post their scores to GHIN on league days as GHIN will pull the score via the Golf Genius app after posting, usually by that afternoon.
• Please sign, attest and turn in all scorecards to the Pro shop before you leave the course. If you forget, please take a picture and send it to the tournament chair. The tournament chair and Golf Genius will calculate the game of the day and results will be posted to the GOLFGENIUS portal.

 

Non League playing days Scoring: Scores should be recorded per hole and CGWGC requires that all members post their scores by midnight of the day played for rounds that are played on non- league playdates. The USGA recommends the same, as indexes now adjust daily instead of bi-monthly.
