Closest to the Pin: Each playdate (excluding Club Championship dates) there will be a “Closest to the Pin” contest on a predetermined Par 3. There will be a stake on that green where players will fill in their name and place the pin where their ball landed on the green. Winning shots need to be the players first tee shot from the tee box and must end up on the green.
Players may participate to win CTP by paying prior to teeing off on that playday.
- There will be an envelope in the Pro Shop that day; players participating in that playday's CTP contest need to write their name on the envelope and place one dollar ($1) in the envelope. Some weeks there will be one envelope for both leagues.
- If a player is closest to the pin and did not write their name on the envelope and put one dollar ($1) in the envelope prior to their teeing off on that playday, then that indicates they have decided not to participate in the CTP contest for that playday, they are not eligible for the CTP pot that day, and they can not add their name and money at the end of the round to win the pot.
The payout for closest to the pin is calculated by how many players participate in the contest that day multiplied by $1. Players will be paid in cash.
