2024 Suburban West B Team League
What is B Team? We represent CommonGround in the Suburban West B League and compete against teams from around the Denver Metro area. B Team gets to play different courses, meet new people, and have fun competing!
What’s the format? The format is Four Ball Match Play. Your team gets points for “winning” each hole (both gross and net), so it’s fun, but the goal is for your team to win the most points during the 18 hole round. At the end of the season, the team with the most points across all their matches wins. It’s easy to learn and the team works together on the scoring. For anyone interested, Laura Stuto will conduct a match play clinic explaining scoring and strategy on April 25th, 10am at CommonGround on the Par 3 course. Who can play? 9 and 18-Hole League Members of CGWGC with established handicap indexes between 15 and 32. Six women from CommonGround compete against 6 players from the opposing women’s team.
Who plays in each match? Two (2) weeks out from a match you receive an email asking if you want to play. One (1) week out from the match the 6 players with the lowest indexes field the team and strokes are awarded based on handicaps on that date. Those who do not make the team can be alternates.
When do we play? Matches are played on weekdays between May 8th and August 26th with a Fun Day open to anyone who wants to play on September 4th.

Why should I play? Because we have a blast. We meet a lot of other nice players and get to play other golf courses. Cost is green fees.
