The Valentine Invitational, presented by BDraddy and Zero Restriction, celebrates the rich golf history, culture and facilities of Hermitage Country Club by providing a premier tournament experience that supports the region's elite Mid-Amateur and Senior golf communities. We cannot wait to welcome a high-quality, nationwide field to Hermitage for the 82nd playing of the Valentine in August. The Valentine is a World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) and Virginia State Golf Association (VSGA) points event.

Last year, Sam Beach (Richmond, VA) fired a 54-hole total of 202 (-14) to win the Open division of the 81st Valentine Invitational. Sam, the 2023 Hermitage club champion, was bogey-free in his final round 68 to outlast Jack Montague (204, -12) by 2 shots. West Virginia native Christian Brand stormed into contention by playing his first 11 holes of the final round in 8 under par and "settled" for 64 and a third-place finish at 206 (-10). There were 23 players who finished the Open division at par or better.

Steve Serrao (Midlothian, VA) ran away with the Senior division title, shooting 203 (-13) to win by 6 shots over 2x defending Senior division champ Jon Hurst (Fredericksburg, VA). At one point in the final round, Steve's lead peaked at 10 shots. Virginia Golf Hall of Famer and Hermitage member David Partridge finished 3rd at 211 (-5).
