Refund & Notice of Withdrawal Policy

Entry fees will be fully refunded if the Golf Canada Tournament Director is notified of the team’s or player’s intention to withdraw before the final registration deadline (Sam Meek; smeek@golfcanada.ca; 1-800-263-0009 ext. 250).   

 

Once a team or player is accepted into the championship, the entry fee will be processed and they are expected to participate.  If a team or player wishes to withdraw prior to the start of the championship, please notify Golf Canada well in advance to ensure an alternate has a fair opportunity to participate.  Failure to comply may result in DISQUALIFICATION from future Golf Canada competitions.

*Entry fees are non-refundable after the final registration deadline without a doctor’s note or medical certificate.  All refunds are subject to a $50 administrative fee after the final registration deadline. 

Golf Canada Membership

In order to apply to compete in Golf Canada competition, players must be a Golf Canada member through a member golf club or the Public Player program, and have an up-to-date Golf Canada Handicap Index visible on the Golf Canada Score Centre at the time of online registration.  If you do not have a Golf Canada membership you can JOIN NOW

 

Health and Safety Protocols

Golf Canada will follow the applicable local and provincial health guidelines. 

It is the player's responsibility to be aware of the current travel restrictions to the province/region they are travelling to.  Canada's various provincial travel guidelines can be found here: https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/provinces.

Membre de Golf Canada

Pour pouvoir participer aux compétitions de Golf Canada, les athlètes doivent être membres de Golf Canada par l'intermédiaire d'un club de golf membre ou du programme de Joueur public et avoir, au moment de l'inscription en ligne, un index de handicap de Golf Canada à jour et visible dans le Centre de scores de Golf Canada.  Si vous n'êtes pas membre de Golf Canada, vous pouvez y ADHÉRER DÈS MAINTENANT.

 

Protocoles de santé et de sécurité

Golf Canada suivra les directives de santé locales et provinciales en vigueur.

Il incombe à l’athlète de connaître les restrictions de voyage en vigueur dans la province/région visitée.  Les différentes directives provinciales du Canada en matière de voyages peuvent être consultées ici.  

Les athlètes internationaux doivent s’informer des directives de voyage en vigueur au Canada, qui peuvent être consultées ici.
