ALL players tee off. Select the best drive. The other 3 players hit the next shot and repeat the process until the ball is holed. Balls may be played within 1 club length of the last shot. You may improve the lie by moving from rough to fairway, but you cannot move out of a hazard. On the green the ball must be placed within 6" from the previous shot. Each player must use at least 3 drives!

This is a Competition score and must be played under USGA (summer) Rules. As such, preferred lies do not apply. Note that there are rules for casual/standing water, GUR (ground under repair), man made obstructions and embedded balls which provide relief without penalty.

 

Likewise, Model Local Rule E-5 is suspended during Competition play. If your ball is OB or lost outside a hazard, you must replay the ball from its last position, stoke and distance. If in doubt, always play a provisional ball. If you find the original ball and it is lying behind the provisional, then you must put the original ball back in play. If not, the provisional becomes the ball in play.

 

Par+5 is suspended and all players must finish the hole.

We don't want you to miss any of the fun, so we've decided to play the Putt Savers alongside the second round of Ringers.

 

• Collect your individual scorecard from the Pro Shop for Ringer round 2. Add your second round gross score to the card and keep your Ringer score at the bottom. The tournament is your best score for each hole over 2 rounds.(If you did not play Ringers round 1, just start a new score card)
• One person will keep the foursome card to turn in at the 19th hole (gross scores & putts)
• In addition to keeping your gross score (for Ringers), mark down your putts on each hole (for Putt Savers). The ball must be on the green to count as a putt. Low putts win!
• Last but not least, WEAR YOUR TEAM COLORS!

Each player is assigned a color. Player #1 is the captain and will be responsible for holding the chips.
After all players have holed out, using a blind draw, the player whose chip is drawn is the NET score on that hole.
