Format:

  • This event is a two-man team replay event.
  • Teams will be divided into flights based on the total of the player's Indexes at the time that signups close.
  • The best "net" ball of each team will be recorded on day one.  If a net score for the team is bettered on any hole on day two, that will be the team score replacing the higher hole score from day one.   If not bettered, keep your score from day one.
  • The best net team score for the two days will determine the order of finish within flights.
  • Pin positions and courses will remain the same for day two, conditions permitting.
  • Online mobile scoring will be required from one member in each foursome.  Another player will keep a paper scorecard.  Teams are responsible for verifying the two scores agree before signing and handing in the card.
  • The max score will be a net double bogey.
  • Courses are Cherokee/Creek
  • Play will be from any tee chosen by the player at signup.   Tee selections will be Black, Blue, Blue/White, White, White/Gold, and Gold.    Consider your choice carefully, as there will be NO tee changes once signup closes.
  • The handicap allowance is 100%.

Playoffs:  Tournament Champions will be determined by a playoff on Creek 9 between flight winners.  The combined net score of the two team members will be used during the playoff as the team score.   The overall champions will receive trophies.

Ties:
  • Flights and Divisions: all ties will be resolved using the USGA 9/6/3/1 methodology.  The winner of a tie (or ties) will be the player or team with the best score for the back 9 holes (irrespective of starting hole), and if not resolved, the last 6, last 3, and last hole in that order.  If a tie is not resolved on the back 9, the same process will be used for the front nine.  If there is no winner at this point, the tie will be resolved by chip-off as described below.
  • Playoffs (if applicable):  During a playoff, ties will be resolved by chip-off.   All players will chip using any club they choose to use, and the closest to the pin will win.

Prizes/Payouts:

This is a flighted event.   The number of flights and places paid will be determined by the total number of players.  Payouts will be in Big Canoe Bucks.

Cash Pool:  $50 per team:  A cash pool is available for all interested teams.   The cash pool entry is $50 per team and will be collected on the first tee on Friday.   Participation is by team only, with no individual participation (however, one partner may buy in for the entire team).  Please be prepared to pay at the first tee as all monies have to be collected at that point to be in the pool.  The cash pool is paid to the top teams in each flight and for final playoff positions.  The amounts will be determined based on total participation.  While teams not entering the cash pool may still participate in the playoffs, they will not receive prize money from the cash pool, and the payouts for other teams will be adjusted accordingly.

Proximity:

  • Closest to the pin awards on all par 3 holes, both days.
  • Each winner receives $50 per CTP, payable in Big Canoe Bucks.

Food & Beverage:

Your entry fee for this tournament includes a box lunch, drink ticket with a keg, and soda after the round on the second day of the tournament only.

The Entry Fee listed includes all tournament and F&B functions (if included) but does not include golf and cart fees. The pro shop will calculate and bill those based on your individual status as an amenity member.

  • You may select your partner, but you must sign up as a team. If you are a single and want to play, sign up, and we will match you with another single player if available.

  • Tee sheets will be posted the evening that signups close.
