2024 Senior Open of Virginia  

This is a Player of the Year Points Event for the Senior Category

Date: September 9th-10th, 2024

Location: Willow Oaks Country Club  - Richmond, VA 

Deadline: Friday, August 30th at 12 PM

Eligibility:  Open to all MAPGA Professionals, all VSGA Amateurs, and all Professionals who live in Virginia. All participants must be age 50 or older as of September 9th, 2024. MAPGA Professionals register on a first come, first served basis with a pecking order. Amateurs must register with the VSGA and play in a qualifier.

"Non" MAPGA Professionals MUST qualify in the Last Chance Qualifier at Independence GC.  Please reach out to Cal Williams at Independence GC for more details.  

Compensation Survey:  MAPGA Pros must complete the compensation survey in order to play in the event.  CLICK HERE to fill out the survey.

Entry Fee: Members- $225 per person.

Start Times: Tee Times starting at approximately 8:00 AM off Holes #1 and #10.  

Format: 36 holes of Individual Stroke Play.

Ties: A tie for first place only shall be decided by a sudden death playoff beginning immediately following completion of play. All other ties shall split prize money and POY points.
