TOURNAMENT INFO  

 

The NAGT Queen City AM Tour ia grateful to have Ed Johnson and his team at HealthCare Advisors back as a tour sponsor in 2024! The Tour returns to Wetherington Golf and Country Club as part of our 15 year anniversary rotation!

 

This fun format brings out the true camaraderie of the tour while boosting competition with a boosted prize pool including cash payout to the gross winners! All tournament players will enjoy a great round of golf on this championship course, player tee gift, and chance to win big! 2 Man Gross, Net, and Individual flight winners will be recognized.   

 

Optional Side Games: $60 all in or per contest pricing. You can pay for these at check in.

 

$30 Skins games- 

$20 F9 Individual Gross Skins Cash game during Best Ball. Birdie or better, gross scoring.

$10 F9 Individual Net Skins Cash game during Best Ball. Birdie or better, 100% of your hcp will be used for net scoring.

 

 

$20 Skills Contest includes. 

  • Pre round; Breakfast balls and booze Putting Contest. Putt to any target on the green and win that prize which will be a combination of booze and golfballs! You can purchase additional putts for $10 each.
  • Post round; Up and Down Contest. Grab a drink and bring your partner and compete in our 2 Man Up and Down Contest: one player chips over our flop wall and the other finishes with a putt. If your team chips in, you both win $50 in tour credit. If you get up and down, you each win a $20 tour credit! 
  • During your round; #8 Military Appreciation Hole- Cleveland CTP Contest- win a Free Cleveland RTX 6 Wedge for you and your partner! 
  • During your round; #15 BB4K.ORG Hole- Pay it forward and play it forward, CTP Contest-wins a free weekend tournament entry fee for you and your partner! Expires in 2024.

Prize 1= $750 value; $500 in tour credit and free lifetime membership!

Prize 2= $500 value; Bearcats Bundle; 6 football tickets to a 2024 BIG 12 home game. 50 yard line 10th row! Comes with a Bearcat football jersey!

Prize Pool; Tournament Championships

 

All teams in the field will be eligible for points, and the following championships are included with your entry:

 

2 Man Gross Champions will take home a $1000 cash and our two-man trophy! The runner up will earn $500 in tour credit. 3rd place gets $250 in tour credit! The gross prize pool is valued at $1750. *All credits can be used for weekend one day tournaments and or side games, not valid for Monday or 2 day events.  

 

Format is Gross scoring 18 holes.

  • Front 9 holes are played as Best Ball (you and your partner play your own ball with a triple bogey max). The lowest score between the two of you on that hole will be used as your team score. Golf genius will calculate this for you, simply enter your individual scores.
  • Back 9 holes played as Modified Alternate shot (both players tee off and then choose the best tee ball to play alternate shot in. Player 1 hits, then player 2, etc until the putt is holed out-no gimmies). All teams will play a triple bogey max in this format. Please play the ball down in this format, one ball rule applies once in play. Partners cannot switch out for their own ball.

 

2 Man Net Championship Format is 75% of your handicap Net scoring on the Front 9 Holes and 50% of your handicap on the back 9 holes. Tour players who have played in an event before will use their tournament index. First timers will use a valid GHIN or be given an average of your profile index and the flight you are placed in. Winners take home $500 tour credit and the two-man trophy! 2nd is $200. In the event of a playoff our champion will be decided on #18 and played straight up with no handicap strokes given.

 

Flights Individual Competition

 

All players will earn points toward Player of the Year and an official career win by finishing as the leader in any flight. Flight Champions will be awarded strictly off the front 9 holes because of the best ball format. The flight winner will not earn a trophy or prize pool but be credited with an official career win. The prize pool is reserved for the 2-man championship.

FLIGHTS/TEE BOXES-

  • Flight 1-6 will be offered, view the leaderboard in golf genius to confirm your flight
  • All Men’s players will play from the white tees
  • Ladies play from the green tee 

 

SCORING

The NAGT does our best to "go green" and will not issue scorecards but instead use Live scoring through our tournament software as the official scoring. Players should load the Golf Genius app which will be used to conduct LIVE scoring. Players will receive a GGID code to score and can locate that code on a pre event pairings email, text, and or cart sign.

 

PLAYER PREVIEW

 

Players will be emailed a detailed player preview a few days prior to your arrival to help guide and explain anything you need before, during, and after the event. Players will also get a email and text with pairings.

* Pairings, tee boxes, and game day rules of play are always subject to change due to player withdraws or additons, chnage in course conditions, etc.
