Special Provisions for the 10 & Under Age Groups only.
The following provisions shall be in effect for the Boys and Girls 10 & Under age groups only.
- Format of Play
- Two 9-hole rounds of stroke play, totaling 18 holes.
- Maximum score on each hole shall be triple bogey.
- Any hole not completed - as defined by 'Holed' in the Rules of Golf - shall result in a score of triple bogey.
- Motorized Transportation and Caddies
- Players may have a caddy during any round.
- Only one person may be a player's caddy.
- Caddies are reminded to not stand directly behind a player once they begin taking their stance as specified in Rule 10.2 (4).
- Players and their equipment may be transported either by walking, in a golf cart, push-cart, or carried by a caddy.
- Players and caddies may only use the golf cart specified by the starter or golf carts operated by the Tournament Committee. All other golf carts are spectator carts and may not be used by the player or caddy.
- A player may have the same caddy as another player.
- Golf carts may be used at the cost of $25 per cart, payable directly to Pine Tree Country Club in the Golf Shop.
- The Tournament Committee reserves the right to prohibit any individual from being a caddy or continuing as a caddy for any reason.
- Players may have a caddy during any round.
The 10 & Under Age Groups have some differences in rules and procedures than other Age Groups. For the 10 & Under Age Groups only, in areas where differences exist, rules and procedures specified are authoritative.
